Mae Jane is a primarily self-taught mixed media artist living and day dreaming in the tiniest ocean state around. Born and raised in New England since 1984 she has grown an appreciation for all elements of nature, human life, creatures, and even the cosmos.
Mae Jane has been creating art since she was a little one by means of attending arts and crafts courses, summer camps, enrolling in four art courses in high school, and studying painting, 3d design, and drawing in college. She creates art ranging in mediums of ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylics, collage, glue, and found vintage elements. She aims to capture life as it is in its raw state against simple typographical backdrops. When she isn't creating art or some odd crafted creation, she's usually camping in the woods with friends or watching Battlestar Galactica and The Office.
